David Maus Golf Tournament Filling Up

Local Central Florida companies are coming out to support the David Maus Foundation Charity Golf Tournament to help raise money and awareness for four great charities dedicated to helping children and their families. As of today five of the eight “other” sponsorships have been claimed and close to 51 teams have pledged their involvement in the event.

“The response we have received on this year’s event has been incredible. We are so excited about the new venue at Grand Cypress Golf Resort and raising money for such amazing charities. This is the passion of all of our board members – to help children with life-threatening illnesses – in any way we can,” said Nicole Maus, Tournament Coordinator.

RL Haines Construction and Leavitt Companies Named Title Sponsors for David Maus Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament

RL Haines Construction, LLC and the Leavitt Companies are serving as Title Sponsors of the 7th Annual David Maus Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament. The event will be held May 14-16th, 2011 at ChampionsGate Golf Club. Proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Autism Society of Greater Orlando and Camp Boggy Creek – all nonprofit organizations that provide assistance to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

For the past seven years, the David Maus Foundation has worked closely with local businesses to help raise money for Central Florida charities dedicated to helping children in need. Since its first year, the David Maus Foundation has raised over $800,000 for nonprofit organizations and hopes to hit the million dollar mark this year.
