The David Maus Foundation was founded in 2004 with a group of volunteers passionate about making a difference. The first event, which was named The 1st Annual David Maus Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament, raised over $40,000 for the Seminole County Boys and Girls Club and Camp Boggy Creek.

Since the first event we continue to hold the Annual Golf Tournament event and we have hosted other events such as:

  • The Bagels, Bacon and Biceps Brunch to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation of Central Florida
  • Raffling off a Camry Hybrid to sponsor two major Ronald McDonald House fundraising events, the Clambake and the Share A Night, Light A Light events which raised over $300,000 together

To date, the David Maus Foundation has raised over $1.1 million for local Central Florida charities. The David Maus Foundation is supported by people from the Central Florida community, people who realize that everyone can make a difference - all they have to do is try.

Our donations to the Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida have given us the opportunity to underwrite three rooms between the two houses and make a capital contribution to their third home near the Nemours Childrens Hospital. These donations allow families of the children in the local hospitals a place to stay free of charge so that they can concentrate on the wellness of their child.

We have helped make great strides in assisting children with Crohns and Colitis Foundation and trying to find a cure. In partnership with the Leavitt Family Foundation we have given aid to Oasis Camp, a place children with Crohns or Colitis can go, have fun and not be judged in any way.

We have been honored to make contributions to the Autism Society of Greater Orlando, Camp Boggy Creek, Make A Wish Foundation of Central Florida, the Florida Children’s Hospital and many more throughout the years.

Our goal will always be to help children with life threatening illnesses and their families and we couldn’t do it without your support.
