David Maus has become one of the most recognized personalities in the Central Florida area, locally known as a spokesperson for David Maus Toyota, David Maus Volkswagen North and South and the brand new David Maus Hyundai. Mr. Maus’ business ventures extend as a partner and General Manager of David Maus Toyota, David Maus Volkswagen, David Maus Hyundai and the President of Maus Media Group, a local advertising agency. Mr. Maus has shown that he believes in integrity and honesty when speaking with his customers. He has set a trend with his advertising on how a customer should be treated and how valuable their time is.

David Maus’ most commendable attribute is his generous involvement in local Central Florida charities. For the past five years, David Maus has been spotlighted by Time magazine for his participation with such charities as Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida (2008), Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Miracle Network (2007), Camp Boggy Creek (2006), Sports and Drugs Don’t Mix Charity for Kids (2005), and Lake Mary Police Department D.A.R.E. program (2004).

In the past six years, David Maus Toyota has been named the recipient of the Toyota Motor Sales 2005 President’s Cabinet award, 2003-2007 President’s Award and 2003-2007 Board of Governor’s as well as the Chairman’s Award by Southeast Toyota. All of these accolades are given to the top Toyota dealers in the country in sales, service and community involvement.

David Maus has over 15 years experience in the car business having started his career with Kissimmee Toyota in 1993. Prior to the car business, David Maus worked in the golf industry in sales. He makes his permanent residence in Orlando with his three kids David (20), Tyler (15) and Savannah (13). He was born on August 19, 1968 in Steubenville, Ohio. He enjoys swimming, sports and spending time with his family.

Due to the dealership’s extensive community participation, David Maus and his staff have been featured in Time Magazine for their involvement with such charities as Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida (2008 issue), Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Miracle Network (2007 issue); Give Kids the World (2006 issue); Sports and Drugs Don’t Mix Charity for Kids, (2005 issue), Lake Mary Police Department D.A.R.E. program (2004 issue), and Baby DJ with XL 106.7 (2003 issue).

Mark Ornstein was elected Vice President of the board on April 25, 2005. Mark Ornstein is a shareholder in the law firm of Killgore Pearlman Stamp Ornstein & Squires, P.A. During his 18 years as a prominent lawyer, Mr. Ornstein has become a strong supporter of the Central Florida community with involvement in the following organizations:

  • Co-Host for Brunch at Annual National Automobile Dealers Association Meetings.
  • Past President and current Board Member, Central Florida Epilepsy Association.
  • Sponsor and participant in Central Florida Auto Dealers Association annual charity golf tournament.

Julie McCumber was elected Treasurer of the board on April 25,2005. Mrs. McCumber has been involved in the Toyota group for over 20 years and works as the Comptroller of David Maus Toyota. The McCumber family has become greatly involved in local Central Florida charities by donating a considerable amount of time and making significant contributions to charities such as Baby DJ, A Gift For Teaching, Children’s Miracle Network, the Foundation of Seminole County and many more.
